Clients spend the day in structured programming - therapy, skills groups, and clinical support - then return to home, sober living, or another supportive arrangement each evening. When detox or another higher level of care is needed, admissions helps with referral.

Living arrangements
PHP assumes you have a safe place to sleep each night - home or a supportive recovery housing setting. That evening environment is separate from day treatment.

Step-down to IOP
As stability grows, many clients reduce clinical hours by stepping into our intensive outpatient program. The goal is continuity - same clinical philosophy, less daily intensity - not an abrupt drop-off. Compare all outpatient doses on our outpatient rehab page.
An eclectic, integrative mix - shaped to you.
PHP integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with behavioral activation, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, art therapy, existential therapy, and psychodynamic work. We also weave in mindfulness, Yoga-Nidra, expressive writing, 12-step principles, coping skills, and nutrition education. The exact mix is adjusted based on each client's needs and preferences.
A full clinical day on an outpatient basis. Mornings often start with a local 12-step meeting, groups at 10am, catered lunch around 1pm, then afternoon experiential and therapy groups.

We include family in treatment and offer family therapy and/or counseling per the client's request. Family involvement is scheduled in advance and shaped around what is safe and productive for the client.
To protect the privacy and anonymity of everyone enrolled, family members do not attend group therapy.
Insurance & admissions
PHP is a higher level of outpatient care and is typically covered when medically necessary. Start with a confidential call or benefits check - we never guarantee cost on the website.

- R&R Recovery provides outpatient levels of care - PHP, IOP, extended care, and group therapy - for adults who are medically stable enough for day treatment.
